Land Use

As part of the city’s Uniform Land Use Review Procedure, Borough President Richards hosts regular Land Use Public Hearings, where entities seeking variances or other changes to the zoning map present their plans. In the following weeks, the Borough President will offer an advisory recommendation either in favor or opposition to those plans.

Residents are welcome to provide testimony during these public hearings, either in person at Queens Borough Hall or via Zoom.
Pre-registration is required for those testifying virtually. Written testimony is accepted via email at [email protected].
