In 2021, Borough President Richards established the Queens Nonprofit Network to serve as a clearinghouse of information for groups across the borough in search of funding and other grant opportunities. Today, the network includes well over 500 local non-profits, which collectively have secured more than $1 million in public and private dollars in the form of micro-grants, foundation awards, corporate sponsorships and other sources. Borough President Richards also hosts an annual Queens Nonprofit Conference, allowing nonprofit organizations to network with one another as well as potential funders and sponsors. The 2025 Queens Nonprofit Conference will be held in late fall, so stay tuned to this page over the coming months as more information is announced.
